Greetings, Internet! Welcome to the nascent HaTikva blog!
We hope to evolve into an analytical, factual, thought-provoking and utterly partial source of pro-Israel blogging, writing, reporting, musing and of course, the odd prank or two. Watch this space as we embark on an impossible, intellectual and hopefully, slightly ridiculous journey into Zionism and contemporary Middle Eastern affairs.We look forward to engaging with serious contemporary and historical issues in the Middle East today with, of course, a focus on the State of Israel. As we expand, we will hopefully facilitate an online community as well as resources for the intrepid (Middle-)Orientalist. Whilst we do that, we also hope to be a part of fantastical Zionist conspiracy, controlling both the banks and the media whilst preparing cheesecake, hummus (yeah, I said it) and a plethora of other stereotypical Jewish dishes.
